Francis: Francis founded PDX Rovers back in 1991 and he remains the owner and operator together with his son Terry and a talented and dedicated crew of technicians. In 2009 PDX Rovers expanded to Central Oregon with the opening of Bend Rovers. Apart from his deep passion for and knowledge of Land Rovers, Francis is also an accomplished pilot and airplane builder. He holds both private and commercial ratings. He is currently building a Vans RV-6. Francis constantly strives to apply his vast cross-training skills and out-of-the-box thinking to the way he analyzes and services Land Rovers. He loves technology and PDX Rovers boasts the latest factory diagnostic computer systems and subscription to the Land Rover technical database! Francis likes to travel and most recently he drove in a Defender 110 through the Andes mountains. He is currently planning his next adventure…going to the Amazon Jungle.

Elsa: Francis’ wife Elsa graduated with a M.Sc. in Business from the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark before moving to the US to start an exciting career in marketing and administration at local start-up companies. She later switched to the important and by no means less hectic task of raising the “next Land Rover generation” - consisting of toddlers Isabella and Annika. Despite their young ages, the girls know a Land Rover when they see one in traffic! Elsa is in charge of marketing and administration of the two fast-growing family businesses. Just like Francis Elsa likes to travel and the family has visited many destinations throughout the US, Europe, and South America.

Terry: Francis' son and co-partner in the family operations, Terry serves as the regional manager for the Portland area at PDX Rovers, as well as our chief financial officer. He is finalizing his undergraduate degree in Finance at Portland State University and planning to attend Law School to study Corporate Law. Terry likes to spend his weekends testing off-road modifications on & off the trails of Oregon. Most recently Terry joined his Dad on the Andes mountain driving trek and has lots of tales to tell from driving at 15,000+ feet altitude.

Our Staff: Our wonderful staff is the backbone of our companies and we consider our experienced and knowledgeable techs part of our family. We offer them a great health insurance plan, PTO, and we enjoy going off-road with them whenever time allows.

Super Rover, Shuttle Craft, Prince Charles, Raptor, Blueberry, Lord Nelson, Storm Trooper: We drive what we service and yes, our many Land Rovers have names!
